IEP Manual Brochure

This is a brochure sent to me by Debby Mills, whose son, now over 21, has multiple disabilities.  During her years of home schooling him, Debby began to develop the IEP forms and organizational materials that she collected to write this very helpful and useful book.  It breaks down each area into clear and well-sequenced goals.  If you are working with a child who has multiple disabilities and want to create your own IEP that is truly appropriate for your child, this is a very important resource for you.

Please note that the Home School Legal Defense Asso. has informed me that the term "IEP" is a "legal term of art".   It is normally reserved for those individualized educational plans created by the public schools after determining a child's eligibility for services from the public school.  Debby's book uses the term "IEP" in her title, but it is important to understand the value of her resource in helping you create an individualized plan for your child who may have more severe special needs.  It is warm, encouraging, and well written.  I recommend it highly.
